Intersecting solids, volumes of hard material that dissolve into unexpected transparencies, plays of shapes that become contemporary architecture. We are not in Bilbao or China, but in the Tuscan Maremma, where, the studio asv3-officina di architettura, is building a cellar for the Antinori Agricultural Company. The production plant foresees three moments: the grape delivery area, the area dedicated to winemaking and storage and the final one consisting of the barrel room, bottling and refining in glass with spaces for washing barriques, storage of glass and a deposit for harvesting equipment. The few openings and the massive insulation on the roof and in the perimeter walls, eliminate thermal bridges with lower energy consumption. A good proof of the project for the experience of Fiorenzo Valbonesi and his studio, which includes the young architects Giovanni Pulelli, Agnese Valbonesi and Francesco Gasperini.
